Haynes Manual

Featured Replies

Before I splash out on a Haynes Manual how much of it is relevant to a 4x4? Enough to make it worthwhile?

It covers the engine, interior, most electrical and bodywork items, front suspension, front brakes and rear brakes.

It does not cover the 4x4 gearbox, 4x4 drivetrain, 4x4 rear suspension, 4x4 related electricals or the haldex controller/rear diff

where can i buy one online?

Is it different for different models? I have an Octy vRS...

Whilst it says it doesnt specifically cover the VRS it DOES cover the Elegance. The Elegance being the same, mechanically and electrically to the VRS, of course.

It wont cover small VRS issues such as front bumper grill removal etc.

I don't want to upset anyone here but hasn't anyone heard of google. Within 30 seconds I had found the following:

Just wanted to know if it covered enough of 4x4 to make it worth it. I knew they only cover normal models. Cheapest I found was Amazon (using wonderful Google!) I'm not going to mess around with 4 wheel drive bits anyway:eek:

Bought mine from Ebay, £12.00 IIRC including delivery.

Fair enough, was just mentioned as I noticed I had one sat on the side that is no use to me.
