Oil temp sender location.....

Featured Replies

I have seen that people are using the blanking bolt by the top of the oil filter housing. Is there anywhere else that can be used? Sump perhaps?

Any advice would be very welcome, thanks.

You could replace the sump plug with the sender, you may need an adaptor to make the threads match up. You could also get a sandwich plate which goes between the oil filter and the block and allows several senders to be screwed into it - like this one from GAUGEPLACE.COM - Welcome CLICK HERE

I'm not sure if there are other places, im guessing there are but I don't know them.

dont they allready have a oil level/temp sensor mounted in the recess in the bottom of the sump??
