You can reset the indicator without VAG COM, search on here or read the user manual, its detailed in there

The current Beta version has a one touch reset facility.

push the mileage reset button in, switch on ignition and turn the reset button right for a couple of settings sometimes takes a couple of goes and often requires the time to be reset afterwards

Or set channel 2 to 0.

Didn't know you could do that on a Fabia, if we are going into 2008 i suppose that we will have to set ch 12 to 366.

Can do on 2005MY thats for sure, as with just about any VAG vehicle these days.

Variable channels are still 42-45 but are programmed by channel 45 for oil quality and the rest code from that.
