Tax Cuts For 1.4 MPI

Featured Replies

I care little how any of you spend your cash in fact the more you end up paying in tax then clearly overall that means the increase for me will be less so thanks again for paying my tax for me keep it up.

While your at it pay your credit cards off at min 3% of balance go on then I can enjoy shifting from 0% deal to 0% deal as your payment style is effectively paying the credit card companys enough to offer the 0% deals to me Go on you know you want to.

lol @ the dumb ***

Could 'little' have been used in this sentence?

i didnt want to be rude:P

keep it up, I find it very odd that you seem to revel in paying more on tax and interest payments.

Are you just devoid of any intelligence

Revel in the fact that I haven't got a credit card!

Well good for you Debt wise.

However by buying your usual things with a credit card you are fully covered any problems with the supplier you dont lose a single penny but using your Switch/Solo etc your in the brown canal.

In addition clearly provided you use it within your means & pay it off fully every month then there are cards which give you up to 3% cashback on your spending so its win win win.

Only those who cannot control their spending get burnt/into trouble.

FYI I have a total Debt (incl Mortgage) Free age of 32/33 which will be during 2010/2011. Thats going to be such a nice feeling 3 bed semi within 40 miles of London all fully paid for and no other debt at all. Then I can have as many holidays a year as I like as no mortgage or loan payments to impact my cashflow.

Can anybody else explain what is going on please?

I just find the level of intelligence thats been demonstrated here below primary school.

People like paying more for goods and services.... why? If it were a charity I'd understand a little more but to help fund the benefit lifers they can get stuffed Id like to see all benefit payments stopped (except ill/disabled/mums of pre school kids) then that would get the lazy crowd back to work.

Ok well if you think £110 is too much in one go set up a standing order into a car savings (any internet savings account) paying in £10per month then every year you already have the cash and will have a little bit of interest.

This can also be applied to insurance MOT etc.

I.e. for me personally (even though I can easliy afford it) every month I have a standing order set up for £70.

This breaks down as follows - £15 road tax, £30 ins, £5 RAC and the remaining £20 to pay for the MOT and any repairs which are needed each year.

Even if you start with £5 per month, you only have to find £60 ONCE per year, not TWICE!!!!!

I've been doing something similar for a few years now. Every time i get a pay rise i up the amount going into my "car" account a little. It's a nice surprise to see how much is in there every year. And once i've paid everything i put some towards anything i want for the car (Parrot bluetooth kit etc.......)

(it's good advice people....... :) But maybe badly delivered??????)

Going up

I wonder how much it would be to get a set of Polish plates made up - never pay road tax, MOT or insurance ever again! :)

But have an accident and injur the other person and you will be in such debt for life you may wish you lived in Poland.

Seriously if anyone on this site drives uninsured I really hope you get caught and get a jail term for it & a nice fine to boot.

Most people who drive without insurance have no money anyway, so sueing them is pointless. knowing they UK justice system they would have to pay

I do like the current laws - if the police catch you with their in car gatzo linked to the DVLA database they stop you demand you produce the MOT cert & Ins cert & your licence.

If you dont they will within 7 days destroy the car. Good

Even if the car were brand new with a nice big loan on it Good.

If they get caught again crush it straight away and then just keep doing it.

In all seriousness the database which is holds proof of ins road tax & MOT is a great step forwards as the old bill know straight away if the car has all three or is illegal. The best thing is that the scanner is working constantly as the car drives around. No one is safe.

These old cars which are not road worthy are thankfully being destroyed I'd imagine that this is having more of an impact to serious injury & accidents than any speed cameras.

I fear you are correct - if your on the inside I do think its a great opportunity to educate them give them qualifications & skills. I'd take away all TV's all music all pics and keep them locked up for all but 2 hrs a day for exercise.

One point against the great aspects of prison is that noone coming out of there will have avoided the old nanl rpae (re arrange the words)

Wow so lets get this straight you pay more taxes for the reason you are intelligent... good on you. Keep it up.

I pay my car tax in full   and even if I didn't it would not make me stupid or unintelligent, think ....I know it's hard for you.

again why the intelligence remarks? do you have some sort of issue? making out people are unintelligent all the time....does it make you feel better about yourself?

:finger:

Have you got any intelligent remarks about the topic? If not just don't post

We could start a new thread called "Welshy against the world" and you could have a slanging match against people who post on there if you like?

Why do you need to provide your details? Surely it's all on their databases already? ANPR each car and automatically send fines out.

Anyway, you won't get caught by traffic police, they're both back at the station writing up reports. Gatso's don't see me on my mobile driving with my knees whilst enjoying my Big Mac
