wires and oil - 2 Q's need A's

Featured Replies

Hey guys, and girls?

Got myself a fabia vrs in december and just getting round to looking at it in depth (as it was too cold to do untill now) and want to modify it.

First question is, im wanting to run wires from accent lights behind the grill to a diy fuse box under the dash, how do i get through from the engine bay to the cabin? and second question is, as i was poking around trying to find places for cables i seen the bottom of something looked like it had been leaking oily liquid. you can see this part poking out of a hole under the right hand side of the front bumper, looks like it is located under the right front wing, you cant see it from the engine bay, only under the car. so what is this part and should i be worryed that it is leaking oily stuff? my limited knowledge says it is the power steering pump.

Hope someone can help me, Mike (vrsmeansyellow)

The oil will be coming from the intercooler pipe, nothing to worry about.

Wires can be passed through the grommet under the front scuttle cover on the nearside.
