Can anybody please tell me, will a steering rack from (54 reg vrs), fit my 02 reg

Unfortunately the part numbers are different. The price new for the steering box in 2004 was £511. I'm guessing yours isn't in a suitable for exchange which might have lowered the cost. :(

I'm not that familiar with the part but I can't see any reason why it couldn't be an exchange unit. I'm getting a rapid knock!! and there's movement in the arm to the nearside wheel that could be the cause. Already had rollbar links changed both sides and problem still there.
