Sorry for not putting Moto GP on the poll, not being a big motorbike fan i wasnt aware it would be so popular.

You just happen to have tapped into a rich vein of closet bikies!

I

I mostly gave up (pedal cycling) cos:-

1) I had the feeling that drivers round where I was living would have me off as soon as look at me. :(

2) Weather here would make it miserable or dangerous or both (and I've moved so (1) no longer applies) about 6 months of the year.

I think F1 is going to be better this year, and schumacher does not stand a chance in his Fiat van lol:rofl:  :P .

I'd say Rallying is....WRC isn't the best at the moment I don't think but I love Rallying in general, both watching and competing at the lower levels. Although I think Pace notes has dampened the lower levels quite alot from a spectators point of view, but thats a whole new issue all together.

Love the Commentary team on SBK they're really funny and love their stuff.... I always remember a quote from a while ago, when they were referring to the size of the Kawasaki, it went "it's like slip-streaming a bus, Brian" Pure quality.

I think I'll go for WRC since ive been a rally fan for 15 years

It wasn't me! Although, thinking about it, against pro cycle racing, I'd say they're not wrong!

Cant say i can argue with that, as i am a huge fan of cycling myself. Should do another poll to cover it. :D

another vote for WRC from me too!

i've had an idea for a new form of motorsort tho, "Pedestrian Skittles" basically you get a volvo 240 estate(or something else huge and indestructable) and you go churning up the precinct and you get points for knocking folks down, double points if you cant smash a person out of a invalid carriage but still leave the carriage standing, bonus points for taking out a phone box etc, plus atrisitc impression points for stunts etc

Ever seen "Death Race 2000" Tom? ;)

Sounds good!

If it is a question of live spectating, rather than box watching (or competing in speed hill climbs) I have probably spent most time watching real road racing over the years.

By real, I mean racing on normally public roads on the Isle of Man (also Ireland, but I have never got to see the NW200, UGP etc.)

Any other Briskodians going over for the centenary TT?

death race 2000.... i shall go and try to get it out the video shop later

Nope. I do have a pal who's done the TT and the NW200 though, and she said that the NW200 was way more fun than the TT, partly cos it's a race and not a time trial, but mostly cos there's more atmosphere.

What's the National Speed Limit in Northern Island though ?;)

If I knew that I could tell you.

Ah, an unintentional pun on my part. The TT course is by and large in the North of 'The Island', whereas once the NW200 roads are open the speed limit on any section of that is the same as for the rest of the UK.

I read it as "Northern Ireland" cos that was what I expected cos that's where the NW200 takes place. The "Southern 100" of course takes place in the South of "The Island".
