I know this has been covered before, but fabia-vrs has been down for a few days and all the help in the forum points to a document on the fabia-vrs web site :(

has anyone got a copy of the document or anything else (ideally a step by step!) I can use to help me install the switch tonight?

I'm sorry, I thought by the name of the thread that you thought your brake light switch was not interesting enough and you wanted to do something about it!

I was going to suggest spraying it pink or something.

I don't why my fabia site is down at the moment - I'll try to get it back on as soon as.

fabia-vrs.com is now back and working again....... Or it was a minute ago when i tried. :D

thanks for getting the web site back up. I was going to fit this switch tonight but i'm sarting to wonder if it is the switch.

symptoms

the broken bulb light comes on when either braking bust most often when going over bumps, most of the time is goes off again after a few secons.

last night when i started the car the broken bulb light came on and stayed on? the all brake lights were working including the high level.

ideas?
