FK High-Sport Coilover Kits??

Featured Replies

Anyone got any knowledge of these fitted on a RS?

Are they worth buying?

Different car I know but they arent regarded too well in the Corsa world. You gets whats you pays for I think.

heard mixed reports about these vis a vis BMW's apparently soft for track but just right for road?

GSF doing them at 15% off at the moment- £550ish buys a set

Again, check the poundage of the springs, as a lot tell you they are right for the Octy vRS, but are not.

What should the poundage be for the springs?

Just for future reference

KW3's are (I think) 1075 kgs and work very well, stay away from those such as the ones for the Bora as these are 900 kgs or less, and are sold by some dealers as being correct for the Octy VRS, but are not.

Also when buying any other type of coilover that they have the bracket for the droplinks.

Hi

As Gerry has said , he has tried a few , but the KW`s prooved to be excellent , but only the Varient 1`s and 3`s

Why try and cut costs on coilovers?

It's part of what keeps your car on the road, KW are very well regarded on here and it's whats getting my vote.

We do the FK's here and they are very good for the money but we only tend to recomend them for the older cars (mk1 golf, corrado and so on) we dont know why but they dont seem to work rite on newer cars, it must be something to do with the weight???

If you are after a budget coilover the Wietec ones a proving to be very good as they are still part of KW, but as others have said you get what you pay for really, if you want the best you have got to be looking at the likes of Eibach and KW, quite simply they are the dogs dangalies for road/sport suspension kits
