Hi everyone I've an octavia elegant diesel saloon that I've happily owned from new in 2001. Last week the drivers side electric door mirror was smashed by some kind soul. I've found one in a breakers yard but I'm not certain of the fitting and connection. Anyone any advice? please.

pop the trim off on the inside of the car (just pulls off don't forget the speaker wires tho!) IIRC there are 3 mounting bolts and a black wiring plug for the mirror.

make sure the replacement is electric, ask them if you can check the electrics work (plug it into your car) before paying or at least before you leave.
