If all goes well in getting rid of the Getz due to it's horrific fuel consumption I will be getting an A2 1.4TDI.

I need to get the 75BHP SE Version, as the Sport (90BHP) does not have Air Con (How Stingy of Audi).

I had a test drive in a 1.4 Petrol Sport yesterday, and my god does it handle well:D

Acoording to Revo Technik it goes from the standard 75BHP and 145 ft/lbs to 109BHP and 182 lbs/ft for £339

Now would a A2 with the Remap weighing about 995KG keep up with a vRS Fabia which weighs just over 1300KG?

Have you checked insurance yet?

Expensive to repair body wise, sometimes pushes up repair bills.

I did, it's group 6 (Same As my current car) and will actually go down by about £30quid a month. I need to check that it's in perfect nick as I understand that aluminium is really expensive to repair:O

Edit: Not to mention £35 a year to tax!

Excellent. I worked for Audi when they were launched and we had one of the first and only approved bodyshops to do the repairs on the ASF chassis cars.

I had a personal hatered of the A2 however, bloody nightmare for rattles and creaks.

The one I test drove had lots of rattles, But then it had 17" wheels with tyres that had a really low profile. It rattled, but It took bends without squealing where my Getz would have left the road upside down:D

The 1.4 75BHP petrol was pretty pokey too!

I honestly can't beleive you are changing from the GETZ to the A2 the GETZ is the better car ;) although anyone would have told you that.

How come you didn't do this in the first place? you may lose a bit in the exchange surely?

I'm sure you know the answer to the above question....I think a yes would be easy to reply with. I just wonder what the insurance company will have to say about it?

I think Hyundai will have to take the car back if they can't get it to do the claimed MPG, you cant sell a can of baked beans with six sausages, when there are only 5

I bought a pair of "sneekers" (trainers) while I was away in the states last week and on the side of the box it said "average contents = 2"

made me laugh
