Thought id start a new thread on this, see if anyone else has had any wildlife atack on first day of owning my Skoda.

Okay I am now a pround owner of 54 plate fabia vrs, think its still on pistonheads in black with 28k, I cant believe the power delivery from start, wants to spin in second, I can honestly say I LOVE IT !!!!

I've had to christen it first though!!!!

Got up nice and early this morning 4.00 am to get back down to Devon, left my dads in really think fog doing 40-45 then BANG !!!! fuk me its a deer !!!! I hit it but I was very very lucky, I had no reaction time for brakes just hooked it as best I could to the right if another car would have been there then....., and believe me a hit this Bambi hard, it just appeared I can still see the big dozy early walking nob jockeys eyes now!!!!

Corner of the bumper took most of the impact, headlight went and fog with cover, ns wing didnt get touched nor did the bonnet which I still think cant believe, the rest of the car was down the side, dents, hair, blood, deer shi* all over the side. Man I felt like crying, I only insured it last night biatch...... well **** happens, I am in the trade so have peeps that can hopefully sort it without losing my no claims, I know it could have been a lot worse, come up the bonnet hit the windscreen kissed me and ****ed over the roof some where, but hey.. Welcome to my world new car.. lol

Oh man - and I thought getting 'grittered' 3 times within 24 hours of delivery was painful . Bad day for wildlife yesterday too - scratch one badger from the Ayrshire countryside late last night coming back from airport with SWMBO. Unlit road, 60 mph and out of nowhere. Unfortunately, scratch one Micra front bumper too :thumbdwn: Helluva wack underneath the number plate but no blood and derision - maybe it's just got a very sore head!

3. Thank goodness you don't have camels wandering around on the road
