You will get more power, you wont get more to the gallon, your cars brain will detect faults and little lights will appear on the dash... :thumbdwn:

If you want more power but not neccessary the dash illuminations, get a 'digital' tuning box, they range somewhere between £100-£200 in price.

Although a little expensive, the Amd One Click is absolutely top notch. Highly recommended and you will see more mpg as well.
