Had my first "stare" this morning...

Featured Replies

I was sat in traffic waiting for a red light to go green, when a big green Shogun pulled up just ahead of me. I could see the driver on his mobile phone with the window wound down. He had a really good stare at me and the car for nearly a minute.

It was quite wierd really. I couldn't decide whether he was admiring my motor, or planning to steal it or my license plate.

I konw how it feels even my lowly Fabia (well lowly compaired to a nice RS) gets stared at. I had one about a week ago when I came out of Safeway and saw this guy looking in at the car through the windows going to the front looking at the alloys. I actually thought he was about to nick the thing when I walked up to him. I was then asked the usual questions from the chap including the 'god they've come a long way eh!'

I wonder if Skoda UK would like to pay us a litlte pocket money for all the unnoficial salesmens jobs we all do!...seems like every owner of a Skoda has to field questions like this , I know its happend to me a few times , Im sure the people who are 'starers' one day could be potential customers for Skoda!
