only "modern" game I have is GT 4 on the playstation2- nurburgring and an m3GTR racecar=heaven

How can you ever get bored of Lego Star Wars !

lego racers was my favourite... you could even build your own lego race car...

iirc the game was aimed at 5 year olds or something, so it was pitched at just the right intellectual level for me

And this is why the Wii might do very well

I bought the SEGA game disc for the PS2 a few weeks back. It has loads of games on it inc Alex Kidd, Altered beast, Sonic 1+2, Bonanza Bros etc.

and there was the game rambo too... ah classic.. and golden axe... my mate henry who runs an arcade still has a golden axe arcade machine in his lock up, that would be so cool in my dining room at home:rolleyes: ...

Operation Wolf IIRC (at least that was what it was called on the Speccy ). Excellent game, apart from the accuracy of the light gun!
