Can anyone recommend a place to balance standard vRS alloys mounted with Toyos in Leicester?

I've read horror stories about people repeatedly having their wheels balanced,with no improvement, but the vibration I'm getting through the steering wheel at 80 is getting on my t*ts.

I would love to know how I can get my wheels balanced too!!!

Been back to kwik fit twice and still nothing has changed. The vibration at around 80 is really beginning to annoy me.

Not exactly in Leicester, but I got my wheels from Jeff Fowkes in Ibstock and was very impressed with the service.

I agree to that, it's been doing it since the new rubber and it really p****s me off.

Now it's started doing it when I accellerate!!!!

surely if its doing it when accelerating its not wheel balance ?

oh and i don't want to upset anybody but i will be fitting and balancing my own tyres on Saturday , that way i know they are right

How are your shock absorbers? These can give funny effects such as vibrations, pulling to one side and odd wear which all look like balance at first glance.

I have had bad experiences of Kwik fit in the past and vowed never to go near another one.

I just use my local tyre place, been going there since I was 18. Always have good results, as they have a slow staff turnover. I usually get dealt with by the same person who knows my car and wont rip me off.
