Sat Nav Advice Fabia VRS

Featured Replies

Hi,

I need advice on which make and model of sat nav would be suitable for my fabia VRS? I am looking for the type that fits into the dashboard and pops out of the dash board instead of the models that sit on the top or are portable. Any suggestions or recommendations please.

what about the oem sat nav?

OEM what does that stand for?

Its the original factory fit navigation

fits the dash no need for fold out screens etc

Thanks - what make and model is this? Was looking to source one outside of the dealers and fit it myself as they seem quite pricey if you get them supplied and fitted by the dealers.

Hi, Pricey at the dealers, Ebay is cheap but you take a chance......:thumbup:

OEM = Original equipment manufacturer

Like this you mean? A Pioneer Avic X1-R with its extra bits under the passenger seat. Expensive, but it works well.

Bloody 'ell..... You have ASR fitted for both the driver's & passenger's sides of the car........ Now that's extravagant!!!! :rofl::rofl::rofl:

The only switches they make that fit in that row are labelled 'ASR', 'EDL' or are for the rear window. The left switch of the pair is for my Antagonising Sound Resonator (aka Klaxon).
