Just bought a 54 Octavia Elegance 1.9 TDi - I like everything but it lacks one little thing! a 3.5 jack socket to connect an MP3 player - even my M Reg Xantia had an auxiliary input. Just parted with an X Reg Octavia 1.9SLX Diesel and I had fitted a Sony Mp3 player - fabulous sound for

maybe you should have taken the H/U out of the previous car , in order to keep the mp3 capability ?

I would have taken the H/U out but it was a different shape (only half the size) and the H/U in the new car also has other info on the screen like which controls are on the outside temperature a picture of the car when reversing etc etc etc

regarding iPod adaptor where is the connection made - is there a 3.4 mm mini jack somewhere?

I keep the original radios for when I sell the car, and transer my nice shiney one over to the new car so personally I would keep it

I succefully retrofited eletric tailgate for my Octavia MK4 Estate What u will need Odis with online account or ODBEleven with PRO sub and Odis offline Control unit 5WB959107 from donor octavia mk4 or from diffrent car/new but u will need to flash correct dataset for this unit with ODIS Cableset https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005011673296593.html Bowden Motor for bowden should have same letter as bowden on IT Different lock for tailgate Interiour button on drivers door Button on tailgate S

Hoping to purchase a 2.0l TSi Sportline/Laurin & Klement variant at some point soon. My budget may result in me seeking out a vehicle with 95K onwards on the clock. I’ll be only considering something with a full comprehensive service history. My understanding is that I shouldn’t worry about cam chain tensioners as they go on and on. But do they? So is there anything I should really looking out for? Thanks

Hi we recently bought a nearly new 2025 Skoda Enjaq 2025 85X and three weeks ago the following happened to my wife on a flat car park: I reversed into a parking space with empty spaces each side of the car. I elevated the P switch to red light position. I opened driver door and screen was on Goodbye. I got out of car and closed driver door. I opened rear right passenger door to remove a bag. Closed that door. Remembered I needed to turn off Interior Monitoring as dog was in the boot. Opened

Hi all, new member here with a question about the inner fuel cap on a 2021 Fabia mk3. Recently after filling up I found that the cap once screwed into place and 'clicked' in (the 'click' it does when screwed fully round in a clockwise motion) didn't want to stay clicked in and kept rotating back slightly 'unclicking' itself. I faffed about with it for a bit in case the bit of elastic that holds it on when unscrewed was interfering and eventually it clicked and stayed. Today I've filled up and co
