just a quick question,does anyone know when esp become standard on octy vrs,im sure it was around late 2003 as my dads 2003 octy vrs still has asr,just wondered as im interested in a 53 vrs to replace my written off leon cupra,by the way after driving my dads vrs,it feels superior to the leon,cruises on the motorway much better.

esp was an option on the vrs apart from the wrc edition and was rather expensive is memory serves me correct

as above it has never been standard on a vRS, only came as standard on the WRC and the 4x4

ESP was a £450 option for the vRS.

Stupid question, but how do you know if youve got esp. Mine only has the asr button on the dash, but esp light comes up on dash didplay when ignition turned on, is this normal?

oops just been to look mine says "EPC" on display what ever that is?

unless you have an ESP button you don't have ESP, the activation light for both ESP and ASR are the same.
