I am fitting the OEM Bluetooth to my new car when it arrives in September and the Bluetooth unit will be situated on the floor under the drivers seat. Does anyone know if there is enough space to fit the under seat storage box as well as the Bluetooth unit?

No problems what so ever, I have the storage box and Bluetooth fitted...

The storage box is no lower than the blank panel you remove.

I've had the box for months now and not got round to fitting it.

Went to local dealer for screws and clips and they had one screw and no clips - has to be special order !

I ordered the box from my local main dealer and it came within the week. Didnt bother with the extra clips and screws as I have plenty of bits & pieces at home.

Very easy to install after unbolting the drivers seat and tilting it back so the base is up at 45 degrees. No need to uncouple any of the electrical sockets either.

I used blue-tack to hold the screws onto the T20 bit as they tend to drop off whilst positioning.

Good pics from the OP BTW

Finally got round to ordering one when I had the cambelt done and I spent about an hour and a half fitting it yesterday. Didn't take the seat out as I didn't have the appropriate spline bit so instead I improved my contortionist skills...

First of all the clips I ordered (as per the earlier suggestions) were for the front pair of screws not the back pair so they didn't fit. The front clips are similar to square rawlplugs and were already fitted to hold the blanking plate in place. The back clips are more like metal grips with a screw thread in them. A few minutes with a sharp craft knife and a file and the front clips were re-purposed :)

I had the aid of a stubby screwdriver with a flexible shaft but still it proved a tad tricky - especially aligning the box so the screws slipped into the seat clips. I used the flexy shaft for the front two screws but had to resort to two short extensions to get to the back screws.

Unlike the passenger side the driver side box doesn't quite clip into the side of the seat nearest the door so it's not as flush as I'd like but no amount of pulling, pushing, squeezing or swearing would mate the two together without leaving a small gap.

So, after two years I now have extra storage space and the world is my lobster...
