how broken is my car??

Featured Replies

i had a little incident the other week involving a round about, the car seems to work fine now but while filling the washer bottle last night i noticed that the shock mounts in the engine bay are slightly different, one sits higher than the other one, on closer inspection it looks like the shoiuld both be sat tight to the body work of the car(the black plasticy looking things on the actual shock mount) does this mean i need to get my shock mounts jigged back into postion or have i just damaged the shock unit itself  , in a really nice world can i just adjust them back into place???

any knowledge/experience would be greatly appreciated

Mine are like that.I think it's meant to be like that. When the wheels are at different levels its probably more noticeable.Had a bit of a shock (no pun) the first time I saw them sticking up like that.David

get someone to turn the steering wheel whilst you watch them.

they move!!!

Have seen mine like that to. It has something todo with being parked on an uneven surface.
