isn't that just the same thing as viewing your subscribed threads??

I can get RSS on my phone. It's been pretty useful as it gives you a small snippet of the info and then you can look it up.

Dont think its your live threads, just the latest 15 threads IIRC

you could just use the iSpy function for that??

The point, as Stu said, is that RSS is available over different media. For the functions you mention you need a browser, an internet connection, and to be logged in.

 i think i might have missed the whole point of it somewhere... i dont really understand this internet stuff...

surely you would need to be connected to the internet to read an rss feed on a mobile phone... or is it sms based?

right, i've been fiddling with it... it seems that it doesnt update very often.. how often does it update a subscirbed feed??

does it keep the existing threads or does it update it with the latest 15 threads??

There are a whole raft of sites that offer RSS updates. You can setup an RSS reader to collect the information and display it in one place.

It updates, but it is not real time, about 5 mins delay i find.

With it connected to a mobile you need 3G or GPRS access left on, or it updates when 3G or GPRS is active.

As Attachment.
