...and trying to make sense of all the variables (age, location, NCD etc etc) will make your head spin. LV worked out great for me, DL were expensive, Elephant should have been wearing masks.

There are no 'one stop' RS insurers but as Geoff said, don't trust any of the online quotes.

Could this 'do not trust the online quote' thing be made a sticky somehow?

Beware of Elephant.co.uk, if you have to have repairs done, they sub contract to whoever will take the work, so you end up dealing with 2 other sub contractors and not with Elephant , even then the details that they pass on are in correct, and communication between Elepahnt & the sub contractors is virtually non existant. ( as my son found out to his mis fortune, when his car took a swipe from a police traffic car, on a high speed chase ).
