Dodgey Central Locking Not The Missus!!

Featured Replies

Just lately I have been coming out of my house in the morning to find my car unlocked and then blaming the missus for being stupid!! But it is happening more and more even when I know I have locked the car .

So I plugged in my laptop with vag-com which I dont really know how to use (HELP) and found the following fault -

00928 - locking module for central locking front driver side (F220)

27-10 - implausible signal - intermittent

Any help on this would be great , hopefully it's just a case of changing the fob battery or a relay.

Thanks in advance Scott

Could be water in the door control unit plug. Had one in that rotted one of the pins out, this showed up when it was unlocked remotely, all the doors except for the drivers door would unlock.

luckily it's not the other way around - a CCM module out of sorts is far easier to fix than a missus.....

If you can find the relevant contacts -try spraying some electronics cleaner into the plug in the driver's door, otherwise it needs a trip to the stealers...

Oh and IMHO you should get the missus some roses to apologise for giving her a hard time....

Good Luck

Bas
