I originally ordered the beige leather, but then the specs changed and I couldn't hav it any more. That looked really good, if a little more work to keep clean.

Although it may be too late for you, each car receives it's own emissions rating, and some of us have found that even with DSG, the car just scrapes into the lower category. However, that might still be too much of a gamble, especially as this may not apply to the newer L&K model.

I didn't like the light leather initially but after seeing the interior shots of the L&K it grew on me. It's a nice overall balance of light and dark.
