replacing skoda bonnet and boot badges

Featured Replies

I was fiddling with the badge on the boot and it fell apart?

I have half a badge stuck to the boot, a black disc, and the other half, all the details, in the kitchen.

I noticed that you can buy new badges on ebay, so before i screwdriver the old one off is there anything i should be aware of, like bolts, screws etc just so i don't scratch the paint to much.

the one on the boot sticks on so the black disc is the glue and so needs to be removed.

not too sure about the one on the front though

For what it's worth, I replaced my rear badge recently as the old one was looking a bit manky. To remove the old one I used a piece of fishing line (used like a cheese wire behind the badge).
