induction kit fitting.

Featured Replies

now then all, now had my occy for abt a month now and ive got a new love in my life, me car. have just ordered a pipercross second hand foam filter that looks very clean and tidy and has just been re oiled which leads to my concern, ive just read that the oil can knack up the maf sensor, is this correct??? also would it be possible to take out the current panel filter and attach the new induction filter to the airbox itself placing it more forward in the engine bay, and i maybe wrong but the current filter is fed by the tube coming from left wing is this a cold air feed and if so could the tube be removed and therefore feed cold air over my new induction filter which will be placed right next to it if attatched to outer air box????? Im fitting the induction kit if im honest to improve engine sound and not expecting particular performance enhancement. :) or:( Cheers Vinnyman.

if alls your after is the sound, then fit it as it is intended. im sure if you go onto the pipercross website there will be fitting instructions on there.
