sorry to post about this, i have done searches and found out that people prefer the pd160 intake and green panel filter instead of an induction kit, (due to the problems with warm air being drawn in.)

do any of you folk have this mod fitted to a standard engine? and would you say its worth while even if i didn't get a remap.

After owning the car for 6 months I fitted a K&N and PD160 intake on my standard engine. I cant say that it makes the engine any more powerful but I can say that it is more willing and smoother to rev, pick up on the throttle is slightly improved, I get less soot out the back and I consistantly get 2-3 more MPG. (empty to full tank against miles, not the onboard computer which can be a bit generious with its readings)

I do a fairly high miles so with a washable filter and better MPG I am saving money and being more eco friendly:thumbup: .

I will be doing the same to my new Fabia as soon as I get it.
