rear hatch release

Apologies - seen other posts on getting cover off ( not the one over the lock -the half section inside the boot)- on 04 it's held by 2 self tappers + 2 10 mm nuts -nothingelse is visible - other post suggested large amount of force needed to overcome springs etc - is this still same and where best to do it to avoid damage to plastic trim
