Featured Replies

Just wonder IF there are any deals going or are dealers sticking to List?

Well I got

I've seen one or two rather good deals from my local dealer, so there must be some out there.

I thought you refuesed to buy one as there was no DSG Mike.

I just hope that that will soon change, either with a 7 speed box or with the MEAG recession that about to blow in America!

Rear removable strutbrace for the vRS 2

Mike

Ahh - your speciality. :P

The vRS Octy II already has a stiffened body shell with a brace specifically along between the struts.

What do you need, some measurements?

Well I just had a rather irate phone call from the Skoda dealer in Stirling where I test drove a vRS but didn't buy.

He offered me

I think it's very close to the cut off for getting cars with the free options now unless you buy one already in the UK.

Mike,

If your willing to be flexible and shop around there are some very good deals available at the moment.

Obviously the free 18" alloys & Jumbo pack helps to start with , after that its a matter of shopping around your local dealers. To get a idea of what deals are possible try looking at some brokers websites such as Broadspeed and Drive the Deal websites seem.

This little lot (see sig) cost me 19,737.50

+ Free servicing for 3 years

+ 5.1% APR finance (which will look even better come Thursday when BoE ups rate to 5.5% :( )

PS - according to new brochure (out 7/5/07) the basic price of vRS is rising to 19,420 (from 19,400)

I saved almost 8% off list for a TFSI (with options) delivered on 1st March.

I didn't try too hard for this as it was not too far away from Drivethedeal.

I also got 3 years free servicing too.

As a recent example I just got VRS Tfsi hatch in Race Blue metallic, 18" alloys, jumbo pack, cruise control, Rear park sensors & xenons for

Motorpoint have one at

Just bought (delivery 17th May) a VRS TFSi Hatch, in Race Blue, Jumbo Box, 18" alloys, Active Head Restraints for

OK - on a more helpful note, before I went bonkers with the options list, the "basic" starting price I negotiated was:
