seat wear on fabia vrs

Featured Replies

i have 1200mile fabia vrs and i have noticed some slight wearing of the drivers seat on the right hand side near the bottom, this is probably due to me rubbing against the seat when you get in and out the vehicle, its very slight, anyone else starting to notice it?

you have to look hard to see the slight wear so i am not bothered about it just now but i am worried what it will be like in a year or twos time

Not noticed it yet. Look out for slip on nylon seat covers that I'm having made specially for the vRS. They will be a good thing for everyday use and will stop your seats wearing or getting dirty. I should have some news on them in the next week or so.

will defo want a set , i bought a seat cover from halfords but it doest fit to well due to the seat design so i took it off, keep me posted when you have the covers

If the furby seats are anything like the tavia seats then wear and tear seems to have a greater effect on them than normal. My driver seat cover has been replaced at 35K.

was this done under warranty, did they try to get out of doing it saying it was wear and tear and not covered

Am I the only one who thinks that is unacceptable? I dont suppose the Fabia seats are any different either :(

It was replaced under warranty without me even asking for it :D

Ive done 8k and seats are still like new.

Q the guy at Gorners in Warrington said that seat material was not covered after 6K miles

Yepp noticed mine having the same issue as well. I am going to mention this tomorrow as I have only covered 1400 miles and the material is fraying already.
