HID kits

Featured Replies

anyone fitted one of those HID conversion kits to a Furbie.

just to the H7 dipped lamps.

any issues problems?

I have a H7 kit, but it's on the main beam (factory xenons use H7 for main beam).

They are very, very bright. Probably too much for the dipped beam without major adjustments to reduce the glare.

If you decide to fit one, I recommend fitting a relay to take the load off the existing wiring - the ballasts use 20,000 volts to fire up the bulbs!

I'm hopefully going to purchase a kit soon from HID'S4U.co.uk look really good but I do not know what colour temp to go for?? Any suggestions:thumbup: I think it will be the 6000k.;)

6000K is the most popular one to go for. Anything over that & you lose the light output.
