How many miles should you get out of a front set of Dunlops 3000?

mine lasted 15k is that good ?

Should I replace with the same again or are Khumas any good or Klaber?

My fronts had 4 mm on them when i got the car serviced on Saturday, the rears had 5mm. This is with 9500 on the clock.

Tyres have now been swapped front to rear so i expect at least 15k out of them, possibly more..

It depends how you drive.

I managed 23k out of the fronts, but then I do a lot of motorway miles. I did find the edges wore out before the centre though

That will be from running them slightly soft

Geoff , I think you may well be looking at some new tyres after 24th April ;)

My fronts lasted 11K miles ,this was after a Northern Meet , a National Meet and an RPM tour .........Track is hard on tyres , depending on how you drive !

Pete...i get my track tyres on saturday, remember ;)

I ran them at 32psi on the front, and 33 rear. The rears never wore out, but had a puncture in both tyres in the same week!

Might also be worth getting the tracking/4 wheel alignment checked as this could be a possible cause too...
