come on guys and gals, don't need a lengthy reply :)

Course it is ;)

Hopefully someone will come up with a more useful reply shortly!

To be honest there isn't a great deal of room for the likes of the pushchair and weekly shopping etc, that's not to say it won't fit but it'll be nothing like the Octy.

Depends how big your push chair it though.

If it's the umbrella type then you've got plenty of space.

...or you could just but the estate version like we did!

I find it a struggle. But on the plus side the seats are split. So the 1 person seat folds down and i put the pushchair in there. Child goes on 2 seater seat with child seat attached.

Not the most baby friendly combined with shopping friendly to be honest. I do manage OK thoe.

Go to the dealers armed with child and shopping and try it out..

I had one person in the back of the Fabia. They were completely cramped, the the passenger seat was pushed foward all the way. It hasn't got a great deal of room in the back at all. I've always thought it was a pointless 5-door. And would of snapped up a 3 door in seconds. The boot, is big enough for what it is, and a Pushchair does fit also.

Couldn't get one in my Fabia, hence the Mondeo ;)

Ok no worries,

if it proves a problem I can always let the Mrs use my company car and use the furby for work,.....

A buggy will easily fit with a reasonable amount of space for other stuff. We have a Maclaren Triumph buggy (

Thanks for the informative replies,

look 99% certain that I will be trading my OctyII VRS to a Fabia VRS and releasing some cash towards a conservatory at some point in the immediate future.

Just need something, reliable, economical and nippy for the wife and the Furby seems to fit the bill.

Will probably get it mapped so that she doesn't miss the Octy's power too much :D

I find the VRS a struggle with a young baby. We end up using my partners 11 year old Corsa most of the time because the boot is bigger and it's sooooo much easier to get the baby seat in and out of the car.
