Leaky shocks....apparently

Featured Replies

Just had my car MOT'd Mk1 Octy VRS and it passed ok but got an advisory note that the front shocks has started to leak gradulally, decided not to have them change right now as the car has only done 47k so was a bit suspicous. What you guys think any similar experiences is it a known problem?

Cheers

Chris

How old is the car?

Isn't unheard of.

Just coming up for 5 years

my 2001 got that advisory last year, but it had done about 88k then. One slighly leaky front and one much more so on the back. I took a few pictures... I will try and post them up later.
