My Hotmail account has probably quite correctly identified this as Junk Mail.

Luv the spelling of forfeit and the numerous grammatical errors !

An obvious phoney, but, if it works for the perpetrators, it certainly would beat kidnapping oil company executives !

Any body else seen one of these ?

How about claiming ? Might be worth a try ?

I'd suppose the minimum you'd get stung for is the courier charge when they came to collect your bank draft and, of course, later, when big Errol and the "Brothers" find out that its drawn against the Teletubby bank of the Grand Bahamas.

I've deleted the numbers in case anyone's tempted !.

Is there a web site showing the best of these ?

Its a standard lottery scam email. They will ask you for upfront fees for the courier insurance etc.

A bit of a cheek that they used the address and postcode of a hospital.

What hospital is that ?

I think the google search engine reference is in error. St Mary's is in Paddington W2

From recollection, nearest hospital to the Great Pulteney street address (Soho, W1), used in the scam letter, is either outpatients to St John's Lisle Street (Skin diseases) - south of Shaftesbury avenue or The Middlesex in Mortimer Street (General), north of Oxford street.

- wow ! That's a blast from the past.

Just Google the postcode, WC1N 3HR

For a short period, some 30 years ago, I used to work just round the corner from there, in Queen Square !

Synchronicity from the crack of doom !
