Weitec adjustable, or non adjustable coilovers.....

Featured Replies

Now my gearbox is nearly sorted, I need to focus on my suspension.... I'm still running the original springs and dampers - the only standard part left on the car I think!!!

After parting with sh!t loads on wonga for the gearbox I've ruled out KW v3's completely as I can't justify the 1k price tag! So i'm looking at the Weitec's.

I know the non-adjustable Weitec's (

Considering what you have had done to the car I would be inclined to save a little longer and get the KW3 with the linear springs.

KW should ask you what sort of settings you'd like....fast road etc...all you need to do then is fit them.

Speaking from experience you need to play a lot to get the settings right.

Also remember not to go too long....you'll get arch rub plus the potential for snapping a drive shaft....ideally they need to be parallel the road.

How about the eibach set up?

Plenty of good tuners sell these and the Weitec kits so they should be able to give you some more info and advice as to whats best to do.

Or failing that go and drive the car a little incase the suspension swapping means you cant drive the car for a while given your recent bad luck :D;)

I'd go for h+r! we sell all the above mentioned kits and the h+r was the one fitted to the demo in the end (after a nightmare with the eibach's) although i would like the kit a bit stiffer at the front i have no complaints after 2000miles

excellent then, least you can drive the thing.

if the Eibach's are too soft can you not get some springs made up for it to solve the issue?

If not its going to have to be the KW3's
