Sodding,Ba****ding,Tw**ing,F***ing Cars!!!!!!!!!!:finger::mad:

Why do we bother?:confused:

I go out and spend an arm and a leg on a new drive shaft, supplement it with fiiting a new timing belt,tensioner and water pump, new track rod end and as a wee bonus for the car give it new brake discs and pads all round.:eek:

You would think it would be happy, but no, it gets all that and then decides it wants a new wheel bearing, anti-roll bar bushes and front stabiliser link bushes as well!:doh:.

Couldn't have decided that when it was all apart getting the drive shaft done could it? NO.

So what next? New diff,gearbox,exhaust,tyres,suspension????

Ungrateful Barsteward that's what it is:(

Steve

You need to find yourself a more grateful vehicle if that's the way it's going to treat you! ;)

OK, Just make sure you don't stray over the border!:eek:

  • 4 weeks later...

I wonder if it might be Octy rebellion week...

Ten days after I bought it mine decided to throw itself infront of a substantial stone on the motorway and required a new windscreen. Still, I too now have the work/play balance in my life with a VRS in both so (due to the fact that I am now arriving everywhere with a huge grin on my face) I suppose I can forgive it just this once!

All I have to do now is stop myself getting too "comfortable" in the work cars as the "grown ups" are watching everything on their big screens ready to pounce on anyone having a little too much "fun"

im in the same boat fella! since i got mine ive needed an new belt and pump and there's an ominous knocking coming from the off side front, ive fixed various rattles and the passenger door speaker keeps cutting out and in. my focus only ever needed work when id inflicted damage, codie(the skodie) seems to like making me angry! i feel your pain!
