I stupidly left my lights on over night and needed to get t o work the next morning so had to jump my car afterwards i noticed that the central locking in the drivers door, electric mirror and the little red light on the interior of the door also has stopped working(the one that comes on when the door opens). The rest of the doors central locking still works as does the electric windows on all doors,i've checked the fuses and they are all fine,

Anyone have any idea what the problem could be?

I know that when my battery died I had to jump it, and the resulting spike in the power, threw a few things including the alarm out. there should be some way of resetting the system, no doubt someone will advise you correctly. When I reset all mine, I have to disconnect the battery for 10 secs, reconnect it, then with all the doors closed, lock and unlock the car 4 times within 30 secs. this sorted my problems. Some will say that disconnecting the battery will put your throttle bodies out of alignment.

symptoms sound exactly like what happened to my car when the connector to the drivers door control box located under the window rotted away. the symptoms were battery going flat because the door light was on all the time and the central locking in the drivers door the electric mirror and the little red light on the interior of the door stopped working. it is caused by the power feed to the box rotting away, or perhaps a fuse for that line has gone.

Worth checking
