Tsr?

Featured Replies

Right i know in the past tsr were pretty good company for vw/audi related work, but i think im right in saying that they have recently changed hands is that correct? Are they any good now? Thinking of having some work done as not far away from me but unsure what there like now!

Not sure if someone has now vbought them but I know they ceased trading and went under sometime ago.

Thier website says..

"TSR Performance was sold to new owners and unfortunately after two years went into receivership. In October 2006 the company was bought from receivers by a local businessman. His son Rob, with three former employees: Tom Walker, Justin Napper and Ross Anderton, decided to restore the company back to its former gory"

One of our members went through an 18 month battle with them and their receivers after they went out of business leaving him without his car which was in bits with various key parts missing from the kit - presumably used on other vehicles.

So - "former gory" might be right - using them might lead to a bloody nose :P On the other hand, the new new owners might be upstanding chaps and going to turn the whole business round. It'll take them a little while to restore confidence, though.

In its heyday under Tim TSR was a very reputable tuner with a lot of knowledge and a good reputation. However it would seem the people it was left to run it into the ground within two years.

Lets just hope the staff have the backing to make it great again, give them a go and let us know.
