Computer / Mileage staying on

Featured Replies

Hiya,

Yet another thread by me, maybe I should of made a "new octavia bits and pieces"!

I've just been out for a drive and after locking up I can still see the time and mileage being displayed on the dash.

I'm sure it turns itself off but just been back out to have a look and it's still on.

Is it meant to stay on?!

I do believe it stays on ethos :)

Yes, it is meant to stay on.

Really?!!!!

I must be going mental then, I'm sure it turned off last time I looked.

Think i'm just being paranoid because it's such an upgrade from my last car and I want everything right on it. :)

Thanks guys.

It should stay on for a short while then time out.

On my old mk1 the display stayed on ALL the time.
