New Fabia just didn't do it for me....so Roomi Scout it is!

Featured Replies

Went in for a Fabia 3 1.4TDi and came out with a factory order (unless one can be sourced on Monday) for a Roomster Scout 1.9TDi, Silver, with parking sensors, Climatronic, and Maxi-DOT.

I've no family, there's just my partner and I but the Roomi Scout looked so much more appealing than the new Furby - I guess things might change with the Furby VRs but for now the Fabia just looks a bit dull to me.

I guess the Roomster's looks have grown on us but even I admit, it is a bit odd looking! I remember my partner actually bursting out laughing when the Roomster TV ad was on!!! The "glorified van" title isn't out of place but somehow the side mouldings and roof bars of the Scout seem to help detract from that and have won me over!

Where the extra space will come in dead handy is getting our two bikes in the back when shooting off into the New Forest, plus for the many, many trips to the tip.

Got a deal that I'm really happy with on my 2002 1.4 16v 100bhp Fabia from Freeborn in Southampton. The (next closest) Fareham dealer was unable to match it - yup, I had to play the two off against each other and came out feeling like a winner!!

I actually hope that they can't source one from another dealer and have to factory order (in fact, I might have to insist) and then I'll get a '57' plate and the same trade-in on the Furby.

For now, I'm tres, tres :)

don't blame you,i want a 'grown up' car after my 56 fabia.it either be a roomster, octavia, golf or focus.

don't 4get pics when get it !!

Yep the Roomster Scout is high on the list to replace the Fabia at some point in the distant future. Enjoy yours when it arrives.

Sounds good, the Scout looks more like the Roomster should have looked all along with the tinted windows and big wheels. Nice interior too.
