After reading through previous threads on here I think it might be prudent to obtain a couple of spares for some of the 'common' items which are know to break or fail regularly, i.e. the bowden cable for the door release and the window glass regulator.

Does anyone know if these are the same for all the doors on the Octavia or are they specific to the doors? i.e. Will the bowden cable for the front door fit the rear door etc.

Obviously, if they are all the same then I reckon it's worth the cost of having a spare knocking round 'just-in-case', and considering how easy it is to replace the AFM I might get one of those too as a backup...

I dunno about the door cable, but I have a couple of ones from my front doors, so I can provide measurements if anyone has any rear ones to check them against. I would imagine the window regulators are common. Maybe someone ETKA could check that.....
