How do I know if my Xenons need adjusting?

Featured Replies

I know there is another thread going on right now concerning Xenons but how do I know if my lights need adjusting?

Any tell tale signs?

Cheers

Yeah, they only light up about 10 feet in front of the car

Put on Main beam and if they hit the road near the car, then the xenons are too low

You mean dipped beam but yeah ;)

Mine are badly adjusted (some fault) and I can't see a darn thing, even foglights improve visibility (which they dont normally with xenons properly adjusted)

I've gotta work out how to adjust them, I know how to set them in adjustment mode in VAGCOM but not looked at the actual adjustment screws themselves, and the bumper is coming off again soon anyway so not gonna bother just yet..

On coming drivers flash their lights and give you the finger :finger:

Or you can not see ten foot in front of you
