ok.....

I am buying a vRS Estate and intend to take it on maybe 2 trackdays a year no more,so

I would like a recommendation from anyone who has had a remap, and how effective it was

would you recommend a new exhaust at the same time?

what are the standard brakes/pads like for track use? I assume they wont be up to much, anyone had an ugrade and from where?

what are the standard springs shocks like? again,if they need upgrading, where what cost etc etc

anyone had the geometry changed? any tuners evolving geometry setting syet for this car? does it need tweaking? anyone had the standard settings checked on a laser jobby and was it ok?

what oil are you lot using?

and feel free to offer up anything else you think i need to know

thanks :)

Welcome!

remap good im running apr which is switchable so you can be economical on the road and turn up for track..

brakes - ferodo ds2500 and decent fluid will improve them no end

susp kw or h+r coilovers would be a good start!

geometry is not really moveable... no camber adjustment.. trust me i have tried.

excellent,cheers :)

I want to put on anthracite wheels, anyone else got them on? I used to have Prodrive PD7s on an Impreza, and i like the ones that seem to come as an option on the new Honda Accord

Jon (TaviaRS) used to have anthracite OEM wheels. Think someone else inherited them now... Mine started out with gold... and now back to OEM :)
