Ocky Mk1 clone of 1999 VW BORA?

Featured Replies

Hi All, Soviet here

I have been searching for an instrument panel circuit diagram for my 2001 ocky LX Mk1.

I have tried the ElsaWin DVDS but returned them to the supplier for a full refund as there was no info on the Skoda ones for a Mk 1., which I thought was weird.

Some one has told me that the Ocky Mk1 is a clone of the 1999 VW Bora, and that if I went for that diagram, then the details of the instrument panel electronics will be the same.

My panel is still working fine, since I had the last go at it, and this is the longest time that it has been with out the Speedo, rev counter, fuel gauge, and coolant temp fault.

Does any one know if the above info. is correct and that it is a clone?

Thanks

Regards

The Octy MK 1 is of the same platform as the Golf MK 4 - The A4 platform, but many parts across the whole VAG range are common.

The golf and bora will be very similar to the octavia , so a wiring diagram for common areas like the dash *should* be ok.
