hi all

new guys. driving an oct. 2006 old model est. 1.9td as a taxi in dublin driving it since new and loving it. just one or two small problems if you can help.

my heater controls stopped lighting gave the console a hit and they came back on, this happened a few times but now are not lighting at all.

ashtray light also blew are these problems connected.

and can i change my gear lever.

i also had power loss after hitting 100mph took three trips and strong words to get corrected but not told what it was. nearly caused accident overtaking. car was only three months old.

any help on above very welcome,

The console lights thing sounds like either a fuse (if separate, or a connector (somewhere behind the console; buy a Haynes or see a dealer).

sorry meant to say 100kmh on a 120kmh motorway. ireland still trying to get use to talking kmhs
