Is this lot any good?

Featured Replies

My car washing has generally involved aiming a hose pipe at the car then a bucket and sponge (I know now, 2 bucket method), but I didn't honestly know. My current car though deserves a bit better so I'm after some reassurance, been looking at Polishedbliss and come up with a list of products that I think I need.

Advanced Wash Kit

Poorboy's Deluxe Mega Towel (the triple pack)

Meguiars Microfibre Applicator Pads

Poorboy's Super Swirl Removers (SSR1)

Poorboy's EX-P Sealant

Poorboy's Natty's Paste Wax Blue

Poorboy's Wheel Sealant

This little lot comes to more than what I've spent in the past (the wash kit alone is probably more!) so I want to be sure that I'm not wasting my money. I will be doing all the washing etc. by hand and there are some swirl marks on the car but they are only very minor and you have to really look for them to see them.

I have read the guides a few times and looked on here too so I think I'm in the right area. One final thing, the car is black magic. Thanks

All looks good, If you have a costco card they have very good MF's in there for about

doesnt look too bad but personally id get some Chemical Guys Jetseal 109 rather than the wheel sealer.

Also your going to have to work like a dog to get rid of the swirls using SSR1 by hand.

Id have some AutoGlym Super Resin Polish on hand to fill in the swirls if your arm falls off.

Id also try and get a clay bar kit as well if your going all out as that will make a massive difference to the feel of the paint work

The only thing I would change is the wax. The finish is great but I didn't find it very durable so have since switched to Collinite which I am far more happy with.
