Octy free spec upgrade

The jumbo could be done - very expensive though. Ditto the wheels. Not sure about the Dual Zone and you'd be missing the rear electric windows

jim if you are looking at a boot mat skoda have revently bought out a new one which has a flap that folds over the bumper ideal for protecting the bumper from over exuberant dogs like mine.

I changed mine from a plain boot mat to this last week

does that fit the raised floor boots?

Saga now over, we have decided (after being given a considerable further discount and the boot mat and dog guard) to accept the car, I pick it up tomorrow.

It just worries me that there are others who are going to pick their cars up tomorrow and may have the same problems I had, but haven't had the luxury of a week to get it all sorted out.

Still, looking forward to 2 or 3 years of happy motoring in my new Octy, all I need now is to find a way of playing my MP3's...

stu worrall yes I suspect it would, I'll tell you tomorrow when I pick my car up

I knew this car wouldn't be right for me. Picked it up Saturday morning, had a lovelly weekend in it and then...

Some idiot rear ended me on Monday morning on the way to work, could have clumped him one!

Devastating news mate.

Is the damage bad? or did you get away with a minor shunt?

Either way -

:thumbdwn: :thumbdwn: :thumbdwn: :thumbdwn: :thumbdwn:

Hope it's sorted soon mate.

gutted

Nooooooooooo !!

It's not terrible, the guy hit me at about 20 mph, and I was stationary, on the Mway, shiny new bumper is all dented above those gorgeous twin tailpipes, and I'm hoping he hasn't knocked the exhaust out as well.

I'm putting some photo's up tomorrow on another forum, i'll drop another in here.

Do I get the underachiever of the 57 year for only having it 3 days before getting it damaged?????

What the **** was he doing? Talking on his mobile? I would have clumped him!!

Gutted for you.

Pics, as promised...

16696.attach

I bet you were really pleased with them for doing that for you!!!

Has to be something of a record mate. Hope it all gets sorted smoothly and easily.

Stu Worall, Sorry for the delay but I don't think that liner would fit the raised floor as it attaches to the hooks in the boot via bungee. If you are anywhere near kimnel bay your more than welcome to pop in and look at mine to see what you think

I have the variable boot thingy as well as that liner. From memory there are two bungees I couldnt get around the respective anchor point but it still does its job 100%

Lee

I am expecting my factory ordered VRS (with some addons) last week in Sept.

Slight concern is a lack of info from the dealer about build dates etc.... wondering if it's slipped and whether deal will still be honoured :/ Anyone got experiece of deals rolling over?
