Not impressed with dealer.....

Featured Replies

Well, after claiming it was only Seat dealers that were rude I had to eat my words today. :(

Took the Furby in to have the rear window bonding thing looked at under the Skoda complimentary extended warranty. The chap behind the counter was a little short with me, but I wasn't too fussed as it was just gone 8am and I thought he may have been tired so I let that go. But, later on as he phoned me to update me about my car he claimed the warranty had expired and got quite shirty when I corrected him and told him to look through the documentation I had left in the car to confirm. On the next snotty phonecall after that he told me the rear window bonding wasn't covered under warranty and that I should try my car insurance glass cover. I've since checked the warranty book and found no mention in the 'what is not covered' section about glass.

All in all a wasted trip and left with a sour taste regarding a certain York dealer that I didn't think was bad before.

Shame.

Anyway, a call to SUK tomorrow to ask why they wont fix the rear window when it's not listed under things they wont cover. Might mention the dealers attitude too.

I know from a chap I work with that owns a Scooby that this particular dealer lost the Subaru contract a little while ago for messing people about and if they keep talking to customers like that they could lose the Skoda one too. :thumbdwn:

Why not post your findings in the dealer review section - thats what it's for.

Regarding the extended warranty glass thing, anyone had any experience of this?
